Anchovies – The Essence of Vietnam’s Seas
Anchovies are one of the seafood products with high economic value and are widely favored in both domestic and international markets. At Kien Giang Import–Export Joint Stock Company, we take pride in being a specialized enterprise in the harvesting, production, and processing of high-quality anchovies, serving both local consumption and exports to markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and demanding markets including South Korea and the EU.
Integrated Production and Processing Chain
- Fresh raw materials: Anchovies are harvested from resource-rich fishing grounds such as Phu Quoc, Kien Giang, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan. The fish are caught seasonally, ensuring freshness, free from preservatives, and processed in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Modern processing, ensuring hygiene: Our processing facilities are fully equipped with modern machinery and cold storage systems, meeting ISO 22000 and Halal standards. Anchovies are carefully sorted, cleaned, and dried according to the requirements of each market. Our capacity includes the procurement and processing of 1,200–1,800 tons of fresh anchovies per year; export and domestic supply of 300–450 tons per year; three anchovy collection vessels with a total capacity of 80 tons; and cold storage facilities with a capacity of over 360 tons.
Diverse processed products include: Whole dried anchovies: A1; A2; A3; Anchovy fillets; Seasoned anchovies (06 flavors); and Macadamia anchovies.
- Quality assurance at every stage: Each production step is strictly controlled in terms of food safety, moisture levels, storage temperature, and product freshness. Our Quality Control (QC) team is present throughout the entire process, from raw material inspection to finished products.
